We created this blog for family and friends to share our journey on our adoption from China. We started in 2006 and our destination is finally in sight!

Kobe - China town - 2
We got off the Bus at Nankinmachi, Kansai's only Chinatown which was a fun place to visit for it's vibrantly colored streets. There were street stalls selling steaming hot Chinese food which looked more authentic than our Chinese food back in Canada. Also a wide variety of unique Chinese knick-knacks and food ingrediants. In the centre of the shopping area were stone figures representing the 12 Chinese zodiac signs. Chinese people also migrated here in the early 1900's, hence China Town. The Chinese speak fluent Japanese and we noticed a lot of the food and packaging was very Japanese style. Enjoy the pictures of China Town.
